Chicken Namkeen Biryani

Ingredients
½ kg chicken
½ kg rice
250 grams yogurt
1 cup clarified butter
2 onions
50 grams garam masala
1 tsp ground nutmeg, mace
1 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp crushed green chilies
2 to 3 tsp kewra
Salt to taste

Method
Soak ½ kg rice for half an hour. In a pan, heat 1 cup clarified butter and sauté 2 sliced onions until golden brown. Then add ½ kg chicken, 250 grams yogurt, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 50 grams hot spices powder, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 2 to3 tsp kewra and salt to taste and allow cooking. Blend 3 green chilies with some water to form a paste. Boil rice in a separate pan. Make layers of rice, chicken gravy and green chili paste in a cooking pot. Top with calrified butter and ground nutmeg, mace powder and allow simmering for 8 to 10 minutes. Delicious Chicken Namkeen Biryani is ready to serve.
