Ingredients
1 whole chicken
2 eggs
2 cups plain flour
½ cup tamarind paste
1 tbsp hot spices powder
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
4 tbsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method
Cut 1 whole chicken into 8 pieces and make slits in the chicken pieces. Then add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ cup tamarind paste, 1 tbsp hot spices powder, 4 tbsp red chili powder, salt to taste and 1 beaten egg and mix together with chicken. Coat chicken pieces with plain flour, dip in beaten egg and coat again with plain flour. Allow steaming for 10 to 15 minutes and then deep fry. Steam Fried Chicken is ready to serve.
